“I first encountered my father when he came through in spirit, never met him in this lifetime. I’m slowly getting to know my father including my paternal relatives from the other side and this has helped ‘fill in the blanks’ which has given me a better understanding. I think this is one of the reasons why we all seek to trace our ancestors in some way. We’re all looking for answers!
“My spirit connection started in my teens, although it wasn’t until later life I embraced and started to use my gifts. I’m a natural psychic empath and healer with years of experience.
“I work full time for spirit in various ways, with one of them being spirit artist, where apart from paintings, I provide spirit portraits, as a spirit will randomly make contact with me, so I never know who will be coming through. Unusual twist
“I was contacted recently by a lady who had seen my portraits on Facebook, as I post my portraits in the hope, their love ones on earth recognise them. My work took an unusual twist with this lady, because she commissioned me to do a portrait of her son in spirit, who initially was born asleep. It was shortly coming up his 10th birthday and with the knowledge that babies continue to grow up in the spirit world, she wanted to know what he looked like at 10-years-old.
“When first approached I explained to her, normally spirits contact me, I don’t look specifically for individual spirits. I explained I wasn’t sure I could link with her son if he didn’t want me to pick up on his energy.
“Before agreeing, I consulted with my spirit guide who assists me with my portraits. I agreed to undertake the commission, because my guide reminded me, the morning of the day the lady contacted me, I’d dreamt about a baby. This was her child linking with me, prior to me being aware she would be contacting me in the afternoon. So, I was able to provide her with a portrait and this gave her a great deal of comfort. Although this wasn’t someone looking for ancestral connections it is an indication of the way contact with the spiritual world can be healing.”
